Casa DSPR (2017) by Elías Rizo Arquitectos located in Guadalajara, México | The Hardt
Casa DSPR (2017) by Elías Rizo Arquitectos located in Guadalajara, México. The house is located in a residential neighborhood within the metropolitan area of Guadalajara. The program is developed in 3 levels; At the street level, there is the main entrance that has two entrances, vehicular and pedestrian separated by a stone wall located inside a pond that leads to the entrance of the house. At this level, there are public areas such as the kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as service areas, laundry, service kitchen, service rooms, and garage.
The central part of the project is a patio that allows lighting and ventilation of all public areas of the house. The basement houses the recreation areas of the house, TV room, games room, terrace and bar that open onto a large garden where the pool and jacuzzi area is located; while the upper floor contains the rooms, kitchenette, white closet and a TV studio. The design seeks to make the most of the terrain in which it is moved, developing throughout its length and generating spaces with great amplitude. Another important characteristic of the project is the use of diverse materials such as stone, marble, and wood that in combination give the house more warmth and life; and in the case of the wood coatings on the façade, they also serve as latticework to protect from the solar incidence and give the rooms greater privacy.
