Home Fireworks (2014) by TTArchitects located in Matsuyama, Japan. The plot of this house is located in a residential area. Two main requests were made: to lay all the common space on the second floor and watch the fireworks during the summer.
We consider the size of the building relative to the terrain. To keep the waste space at less than 1%, construction was planned covering the maximum area of the land. The client demanded that all bedrooms and bathrooms should be facing the garden, so there is a wooden terrace on the south side and a garden on the first floor, on the north side, locating the common spaces in the middle.
Outdoor stairs lead to the roof. In order to see the fireworks, the height of the building was calculated by local standards using the regulations in our favor.
